I run a small gear repair and alterations studio here in Fairplay. Most of what I work on is outdoor gear and workwear. Things people actually use all the time and don’t want to replace. If something’s torn, worn out, or just not fitting right, I'll take a look and fix it in a way that holds up.
I work by appointment so I can give each piece the attention it needs.
I offer local pick-up and drop-off in Fairplay, and I’m happy to meet wherever is easiest for you, coffee shop, grocery store, or somewhere nearby. If you’re coming from outside the area, you can also mail items in.

Repairing gear isn’t just about fixing something quickly. It’s about making sure it actually holds up when you use it again. I approach every repair the same way I do my own running gear. I focus on durability, function, and how it performs in real conditions. My goal is to make your gear functional, durable, and ready to be used again without worry. I also document parts of the process so you can see exactly what was done and why.

Hi, I’m Jaz.
I run AlterDash, a gear repair and alterations studio based in Fairplay, Colorado. I work on outdoor gear and workwear that people rely on every day. Jackets, shells, packs, and everyday pieces that take a beating. Living and training at altitude, I know how important it is for your gear to hold up when you’re out there.
I got into this by repairing my own running gear, and over time that turned into helping others keep theirs going too. Now I focus on clean, durable repairs that are built to last.
